The loop has three grooves: with a light pressure of the forceps, the grooves allow an equal loop crimping, following the long apophysis of the incus without causing necrosis or overcrimping.

The edge of the stem is bent to allow the assembling with the new membrane of the oval window.

The weight of the piston (about 3 mg) is very similar to the actual stapes weight.
